Hello dear readers!
I’m back! I do appologise for the huge delay in writing here. Life has been busy, amazing and for the most part healthy. Lots has happened in the last year, from diets to weddings; with all of that going on writing has gone out of the window. Yesterday I posted on my Instagram page – @tomcoppin23 – following the “3 things you might not know about me” posts, raising awareness for Crohns and Colitis UK. Posting this inspired me to dust off this page and write to you guys again.

3 things you might not know about me:1) I can deadlift 145kg; 2) I’m a bassist; 3) I was diagnosed with Crohns disease in 2000
The first huge news is that in October last year I got married to my beautiful wife Sarah. Our big day was everything we hoped for; there is nothing that we would change. Nearly a year on and married life us treating us very well.
The low FODMAP diet is still going well. I’ve gone through the full process now. The first part was to cut out everything that could cause problems with my IBS. After 6 weeks I started re-introducing foods in a controlled manner, keeping a note of how much of which foods I could eat before I had problems.
Generally speaking, my knackered innards have generally been behaving themselves. There’s been the odd few days where I’ve had toilet problems, mainly when I’ve eaten something I shouldn’t have done. But other than that’s it’s all good.
My weight lifting has come on lately. My opening fact on my three things about me is that I can deadlift 145kg. I’ve set myself new targets in all areas, and can’t wait to share new gains with you guys.
Thanks as always for reading people
