The end is in sight!

I have now started on my last box of antibiotics! This is very exciting. Since leaving the hospital I have been on a type of antibiotic called Metronidazole. (Before you congratulate me on my amazing memory: I looked at the box for the spelling…) After today I will have 9 days left on these then I will be pretty much there in terms of recovery I imagine – I could do with a pint!

I was warned before hand that these antibiotics can cause side effects; headaches, nausea etc. Fortunately I’ve not had any problems with these. I assume that I would have noticed some by now. As per usual with antibiotics, I’ve been told to not consume any alcohol while one these, hence looking forward to a celebratory pint after I’ve finished the course and they are out of my system. So all being well: weekend after next!

About tomcoppin

Hello! I'm Tom, and have started this blog to share my experience of living life with a condition called Crohn's Disease. I've had the condition for a long time and have recently undergone surgery, hence the scar in the picture. I want to share my experiences to raise awareness of Crohn's, as well as helping out people who have been diagnosed. If you have any questions then feel free to message or comment and I will answer! Have a great day people. KBO
