Inspirational evening

Just a quick post to share my thoughts on an event I went to last night; I was invited to a fund raising gala in Southend to raise money and support for Crohns and Colitis UK. The evening consisted of live music and comedy, was well attended and raised an amazing amount of money towards the charity. It was the first time I had been to one of these and I was thoroughly in awe of the night and the people involved. It really meant a lot to me as someone with Crohn’s, seeing so many people getting involved, having a great night and giving so generously to this charity. Thanks again to everyone who came along and to everyone who had a role to play in the organisation and running of last night.

I also got to meet a very inspirational person who has Crohn’s and is an ambassador for the Crohns and Colitis UK charity. I’ve expressed an interest in taking part in more of these events in the future, so hopefully there will be a bit more involvement! Will keep you updated on this. Thanks for reading.

About tomcoppin

Hello! I'm Tom, and have started this blog to share my experience of living life with a condition called Crohn's Disease. I've had the condition for a long time and have recently undergone surgery, hence the scar in the picture. I want to share my experiences to raise awareness of Crohn's, as well as helping out people who have been diagnosed. If you have any questions then feel free to message or comment and I will answer! Have a great day people. KBO
